About the artwork
My inspiration almost always comes from the world around me. Other artists, my family, friends, what I’m going through, anything might trigger a burst of creativity that urges me to create something. For example, my artwork was generated after we had a fire at our new home. I wanted to paint with bright colours to let go of the negativity and pain we felt. My goal was to create an explosion of colours and prints. That’s how the collection ‘WILDS’ came to life.
